Rimgaudas Skinderis dies

The European Handball Federation received the sad news of the passing away of Rimgaudas Skinderis who died on 18 August 2009 at the age of 73.

Skinderis was a top referee. He took part at the 1975 Men’s World Championship and also at the 1980 Olympic Games in Moscow. Later he served European handball as an EHF delegate between 1995 and 2004.

The EHF wishes to express its most sincere condolences to the family of the late sportsman.
