A gift to the Danish National Federation on the occasion of its 75th anniversary.
EHF award scholarship
At a reception on the occasion of the 75th anniversary of the Danish National Federation the EHF, represented by President Tor Lian, Vice President Jean Brihault and Secretary General Michael Wiederer, contributed to the ongoing success of the federation with a valuable award.
The EHF decided to award a scholarship for a female Danish applicant for MESGO, the Executive Master's education in European Sport Governance. MESGO is a unique platform for training, social and professional contact, knowledge sharing and personal development for sports organisations' elected representatives and managerial staff. The EHF will fully sponsor the successful applicant.
Tor Lian underlined the good relation with the Danish National Federation, also as organiser of top events: “It is not a coincidence that Denmark is the first county ever to become the organiser of the European Handball Championships for the second time.”
MESGO is a programme designed for managers working in international, European and national federations, clubs, leagues and trade unions, European institutions and governments or with partners of sport organisations. It was developed in collaboration with several universities and ETS, the Association of European Team Sports.
