Did you lose the count? We will help you out. The 2009/10 club and national team season produced an amazing number of matches and goals. The final statistics prove that the home teams defeated the guests by 28.65 to 26.56 in average...
Taking all official EHF games into account – club competitions, National Team events, qualification games and Younger Age Category matches – a total of 999 matches were played during the past season. More than half (558) were men’s games, 441 were women’s.
The men scored a somewhat higher average of goals: 57,96 goals per game in the EHF Champions League respect to 53,98 for women.
