Dutch women part of the Olympic Qualification Tournament

After the African Championships in Morocco have come to an end, the constellation of the Women’s Olympic Qualification tournaments are finalized.

Thanks to the Angolan victory at the continental Olympic qualification which gives them a straight ticket to London, eight of 12 participants of those tournaments will come from Europe.

The Dutch team were the profiteers of the Angolan victory, as they now snatch a place in Olympic Qualification tournaments.

The Netherlands qualify as the second best ranked team of the EHF EURO 2010 in Denmark and Norway, as Montenegro qualify due to their result at the 2011 World Championship in Brazil and not due to the one from the EHF EURO.
