Jean Brihault elected new EHF President

The European Handball Federation has a new President.

Tor Lian is to be replaced by his former Vice President, Jean Brihault.

The 11th EHF Congress in Monaco voted in favour of 65 years old Frenchman with a clear majority - 48 out of 49 nations voted for him. He will be in office till 2016.

After gaining 97,96 percent of support he said: "I thank you very much for your confidence and I hope I deserve it. This will be judged later on."
