Job vacancy: EHF EURO Events

The European Handball Federation, the governing body for handball throughout Europe, is recruiting for a sports management professional to join the team behind the organisation of the Men’s and Women’s EHF European Handball Championships.

Ideally with a degree in sports management, economics or similar discipline, candidates should have experience of working with international sports events and/or federations.

The role will include working at the European Handball Federation’s flagship events in Serbia in December 2012 (Women’s EHF EURO 2012), in Denmark in January 2014 (Men’s EHF EURO 2014) and in Croatia and Hungary in December 2014 (Women’s EHF EURO 2014). An excellent working knowledge of English is essential.

As well as having good organisational skills, the successful candidate will be required to write reports and papers in English as well as communicate and coordinate with all stakeholders involved in the organisation of the EHF’s flagship national team events.
