No seeding, no country protection in draws

While the Women´s EHF Champions League is already deep into the Main Round phase, other three women´s European Cup competitions – EHF Cup, Cup Winners´ Cup and Challenge Cup completed the Last 16 stage over the previous weekend and on Tuesday, 12 February at 11:00 hrs the quarter-finals pairings will be determined.

The draw will take place at the EHF office in Vienna and the procedure will be the same for all three competitions. Remaining eight teams of each competition will be in one pot as no seeding will divide participants. Also no country protection rule will be applied, what means that two teams from the same country may face each other in the quarter-finals.

Directly after the quarter-finals will be set, the draw of the semi-finals will follow.

The first leg of quarter-finals matches is scheduled for 9/10 March, the second leg will be played one week later (16/17 March). Semi-finals are planned for 6/7 April (first leg) and 13/14 April (second leg).
