Development projects signed

Three important projects within the EHF saw further signatures by the represenatives of the national federations on the second day of the 11th EHF Congress in Monaco.

RINCK Convention

The RINCK Convention was signed by federations of Belarus, Cyprus, Iceland and Serbia, which brought the number of countries involved to 28.

The objective of this convention created in 2000 is the mutual recognition of standards and certificates in the field of coaches' education in handball in Europe by preserving and safeguarding the regional and national characteristics of coaches' education, in order to facilitate the direct admission to work as a handball coach, in each signatory member federation.

The RINCK Convention is named after the EHF Honorary Member, and former chairman of the EHF Methods Commission, Claude Rinck, who was a special guest of the EHF at the Congress in Monaco.

Foster Project and ISP

Representatives of Denmark and Ireland signed the 14th EHF Foster Project of co-operation between developed and devoloping handball nations.

The Infrastructure Support Programme (ISP) offers part-funding of salaries of staff members, such as development officers. The agreement was signed by Belgium.
