5th EHF Referee Candidates Course
On 4-9 March 2009 the EHF, in cooperation with the Hellenic Handball Federation, organised the 5th EHF Referee Candidates Course, which took place in the framework of the International Women’s Tournament in Veria, Greece.

The EHF lecturers of the course (Andorka, La Cour Laursen, Sibila) will evaluate the performance of each individual referee couple in detail and send their report/advice to the EHF Competitions Commission. The CC will decide whether a referee couple can be awarded an EHF status.
The EHF was very impressed by the hospitality and the generous support received by the local staff.
The tournament was won by HC Naisa Nis, who have beaten the Romanian W19 national team in the final.
