Applications for 2017 Younger Age Category Events confirmed

2017 sees the continued roll-out of the new playing system in the EHF’s Younger Age Category competitions.

Five nations have now applied to host tournaments at the two age categories:

EHF W17 EURO - Slovakia (Michalovce) – one tournament to be awarded

EHF W17 Championships - Lithuania (Klaipeda) / FYR Macedonia  (Skopje) – two tournaments to be awarded

EHF W19 EURO - Hungary (Erd and Budaörs) / Slovenia (Celje) – one tournament to be awarded

Inspections of all playing venues are currently in progress ahead of a decision on the awarding of the competitions by the EHF Executive Committee at its meeting in Bordeaux, France on Wednesday, 16 March 2016.
