EHF Cup and Challenge Cup quarter-final pairings drawn

All eight teams remaining in the Women’s EHF Cup and Challenge Cup have learnt their fate for the knockout phase of their respective tournaments after the draw in Vienna has defined all quarter-finals and the semi-finals layout in both competitions.

The draw was conducted by Thomas Schöneich of the EHF Media and Communications Department, and Markus Glaser the senior manager of the Competitions Department.

Women’s Challenge Cup

The first quarter-final leg is scheduled for 4/5 March, the second leg will be played one week later on 11/12 March. The defending champions, Rocasa Gran Canaria ACE to travel to Croatia for their first tie against HC Lokomotiva Zagreb. The 2014 champions H 65 Höörs HK will also have Spanish opponents in Mecalia Atletico Guardes.

Women’s EHF Cup



Danish derby set for quarter-final between Randers HK and NFH - Nykøbing Falster Håndboldklub while the 2016 finalists TuS Metzingen travel to France for their knockout match against Nantes Loire Atlantique HB. The first legs are set to take place on the weekend of 4/5 March with the return leg taking place one week later on 11/12 March.
