Two European semi-finalists at 2011 Men's U21 World Championship

The Men's Junior’s World Championship in Thessaloniki, Greece, is underway since 17 July 2011. Twelve European national teams were qualified. Serbia and Hungary, finishing on fifth rank in their Preliminary Round Groups A and D, went to the Placement Round to play for places 17-24. The other ten European sides continued in the Last 16. Semi-finals

The semi-finals will be played on Thursday, 28 July 2011. Both European teams, Denmark and Germany, will face opponents from the African Continental Federation, leaving open the possibility of an all-European final.

18:00 hrs (local time): Denmark – Tunisia

20:30 hrs (local time): Egypt – Germany
