Upcoming Qualification Draw events
At the occasion of the 10th Ordinary EHF Congress, that takes place on 24 – 25 September 2010 in Copenhagen, Denmark, three draws for Younger Age Category event qualification groups will take place. All draws will be carried out on Saturday 25 September in the following order:

Seeding
The seeding of the participants is based on the ranking of the 2010 Men’s 20 European Championship in Slovakia and therefore in the following pots:
Pot 1 – places 3 to 8 of the 2010 M20 European Championship, to be drawn to row 1, groups 1-6: Slovenia, Germany, Sweden, France, Spain, Iceland
Pot 2 – places 9 to 16 of the 2010 M20 European Championship, to be drawn to row 1, groups 7-8 and to row 2, groups 1-6: Russia, Serbia, Croatia, Slovakia, Romania, Czech Republic, Finland, Israel
Pot 3 – to be drawn to row 2, groups 7-8, to row 3, groups 1-8 and to row 4, groups 1-7: Austria, Belgium, Belarus, Bulgaria, Cyprus, Estonia, Great Britain, Hungary, Italy, FYR Macedonia, Montenegro, Netherlands, Norway, Poland, Switzerland, Turkey, Ukraine
Draw
The teams will be drawn into 7 groups of 4 teams and 1 group of 3 teams. The eight group winners will qualify for the final tournament in Greece.

The teams of pot 1 are drawn to row 1, groups 1-6.

The teams of pot 2 are drawn to row 1, groups 7-8 and to row 2, groups 1-6.

The teams of pot 3 are drawn to row 2, groups 7-8, to row 3, groups 1-8 and to row 4, groups 1-7.

The teams having the right to organise the qualification tournament are drawn.
Note that the teams which were awarded with the right to organise the 2009 Men’s U21 World Championship qualification groups do not have the right to be the organiser of a 2011 Men’s U21 World Championship qualification group. This applies to Belarus, Montenegro, Netherlands, Norway, Poland, Slovenia and Switzerland.

Pot 2 – to be drawn to row 2, groups 4-6, to row 3, groups 1-6 and to row 4, groups 1-6: Austria, Bulgaria, Estonia, Finland, Greece, Iceland, Israel, Italy, Montenegro, Poland, Portugal, Slovenia, Switzerland, Turkey, Ukraine
Draw
The teams will be drawn into 6 groups of 4 teams. 11 teams will qualify for the final tournament in the Netherlands, which includes the teams ranked first and second in the Groups 1-5 and the team ranked first in Group 6.

Note that the teams which were awarded with the right to organise the 2009 Women’s 19 European Championship qualification groups do not have the right to be the organiser of a 2011 Women’s 19 European Championship qualification group. This applies to Austria, Germany, Iceland, Romania, Slovenia and Sweden.
