World Championship draw in Madrid

The Spanish capital, Madrid, will be the host of the Men’s World Championship draw on Thursday 19 July 2012.

The World Championship will be played from 11 to 27 January 2013 in Barcelona/Granollers, Madrid, Zaragoza, Seville and Guadalajara with the final weekend in Barcelona.

The event will be played with 24 teams:

Africa: Tunisia, Algeria and Egypt

Asia: Korea, Qatar and Saudi Arabia

Europe: Denmark, Serbia and Croatia, Russia, Slovenia, Germany, Belarus, FYR Macedonia, Poland, Hungary, Montenegro and Iceland. Spain qualified automatically as hosts and France as reigning champions.

Oceania: Australia

Pan-America: Argentina, Brazil and Chile
